Look Out For A Coupon For The Bestselling Computer Scrapbooking Software
The last years several kinds of software for digital scrapping is currently offered in the stores. You should use a wide range of applications for this specific purpose. Quite a few scrapbookers favor software such as Photoshop or Photoshop Elements. However, the problem with these applications for many is the price tag, photoshop sells for hundreds of dollars, and a software as complex as this one has a very high learning curve. Recently I have posted a My Memories Suite Review on my blog, and this program is both affordable and very easy to learn. Even though it does not have all the expert features as Photoshop, it’s more than enough for most digital scrapbookers.
After you get into the software for the first time, you will notice the work area in the centre, between a browser sidebar on the left and a control panel on the right side. And there’s also an icon tool bar at the top. You can apply photos, backgrounds and elements from every one of them. You will discover some differences though. Even though you can place an element to your page from the left sidebar, it won’t let you to add shadows and also other effects. You can do that from the right sidebar, the control panel.
With My Memories Suite you may basically be as creative as you wish. You can create each page like it was a piece of art, add lots of embellishments and nice titles. But you may also use the automated features of the program. You can select a ready made album, and then use the autofill feature to add your photographs. Even if you use autofill you can go back and edit each page until you are satisfied with them. Everybody knows how annoying it is to get a photobook back from a printer with spelling mistakes. My Memories Suite has a spell checker function, maybe one of the most useful features about the program.
Sometimes I am a little narrow minded. I remember reading an overview of another scrapbook software in Macworld not long ago. And the person who wrote this review listed benefits and drawbacks, and one of the negatives was that he couldn’t add music to the pages. And I thought….hellooo….we make scrapbooks, we don’t expect to listen to Holiday with Scorpions when we open our vacation scrapbook.
Well, in fact this is a really cool feature. Rather than sending your album around for everyone to admire after a family dinner, you could just put a dvd in your player and show the whole book on your big flatscreen tv for everyone to see. With My Memories suite you can do all this. You can have a dvd ordered with your printed scrapbook if you like AND you can include video snippets inside the scrapbook pages, and also music. How cool is that? If you search around a My Memories Suite Coupon, should be pretty easy to find.
