Where To Find A Coupon For The Bestselling Computer Scrapbooking Application
The last years several types of programs for computer scrapping is now available in the shops. You can use a wide range of programs for this specific purpose. Many scrappers prefer programs much like Photoshop or Photoshop Elements. The trouble with these programs for most people is the price tag, photoshop will cost you hundreds of dollars, and a program as advanced as this one has a high learning curve. Recently I’ve written a My Memories Suite Review on my website, and the program is both cheap and very simple to learn. Even though this doesn’t have all the advanced features as Photoshop, it really is more than enough for most digital scrapbookers.
When you first open the My Memories Suite, you will see a left and a right sidebar and the work area between the two. And additionally there’s a tool bar at the top. At the first glanze they appear very similar, but they do have different options. You use the left sidebar to browse your pictures and to access the web store to buy new kits. The right sidebar is the control panel. Even though you can include both pictures and elements from both sidebars, the right one is where you may add effects such as shadows, bevels and even music!
My Memories Suite lets you be as creative as you would like to be. You can put a whole lot of work into each page if you want. Add a lot of details, make a good title and layer your papers. Or you can do it the quick way. Pick a predesigned album and autofill it with your photos. The last option is really great. And whether or not you make use of autofill, it is possible to modify the pages the way you like afterwards, before you order your printed photobook. My Memories Suite even has a a spelling checker included, that is a very handy feature. It is so annoying when you have spent lots of time creating your book, and it comes back from the printer with spelling mistakes you overlooked.
Sometimes I am a little narrow minded. I remember reading a review of another scrapbook software in Macworld not long ago. And the one who wrote this review listed pros and cons, and one of the cons was that he couldn’t add music to the pages. And I thought….hellooo….we make scrapbooks, we don’t expect to hear Holiday with Scorpions when we open our family vacation scrapbook.
I think the idea of adding music and video to a virtual scrapbook is an excellent idea. When you have family and friends visiting, you will not have to send your printed scrapbook around the table. Instead you can put a dvd in your player and you can all see the virtual scrapbook on your tv. Have you decided to buy the program yet?
