A Review And A Coupon For The Best Program for Computer Scrapbooking
Many people want to try internet scrapping, but think applications like Adobe photoshop or perhaps Adobe photoshop elements to difficult to find out. These types of programs are generally also pretty expensive. An excellent option is offered, My Memories Suite. I actually received access to this excellent software last week, and here is my My Memories Suite Review. After I opened up the application for the first time, I found myself a little bit confused. But I actually made the first page layout during an hour or so without the need to go through the manual. My Memories Suite is basically so simple to use.
What confused me a little bit once I started out with this program was the menus. There is one sidebar on both sides of the workspace and an icon bar on top of it. From the first glimpse, they appear doing exactly the same. It is possible to insert pictures and elements from all 3 of these. Although the left sidebar is more similar to a browser, while the control panel sidebar at the right side lets you customize every little thing. Like shadows, inserting music, create videos etc. The left sidebar is great for browsing your pictures.
My Memories Suite lets you be as artistic as you would like to be. You may put a lot of work into each page if you’d like. Add a lot of details, make a great title and layer your papers. Or you can do it the speedy way. Pick a ready made album and autofill it with your photographs. The last option is really pretty good. And even though you use autofill, you’ll be able to modify the pages the way you like afterwards, before you order your printed book. My Memories Suite even has a a spelling checker included, and that is a very handy feature. It is so frustrating when you have spent lots of time creating your book, and it comes back from the printer with spelling errors you overlooked.
Occasionally I’m a little narrow minded. I recall reading a review of another scrapbook software in Macworld a while ago. And the one who wrote this review listed pros and cons, and one of the cons was that he couldn’t add music to the pages. And I thought….hellooo….we make scrapbooks, we don’t expect to listen to Holiday with Scorpions once we open our vacation scrapbook.
The possibility to add music and video can obviously not be add to a printed book of paper, but what My Memories Suite can do for you is create a dvd that includes music tracks and video snippets. I actually think this is a really cool thing. Instead of sending your scrapbook around the table when you have a family gathering, you could put the dvd in your player and flip through a virtual book on your tv for everyone to see at the same time. If you are still not convinced that My Memories Suite is for you, or still to expensive, then do a google search for a My Memories Suite Coupon. It should be pretty easy to find!
