Where To Find A Coupon For The Most Popular Digital Scrapbooking Software
The last years several types of software for digital scrapping has become available in the shops. You can use a wide range of software programs for this purpose. Many scrappers favor software like Photoshop or Photoshop Elements. The drawback with these programs for most people is the price tag, photoshop typically costs hundreds of dollars, and a program as advanced as this one has a high learning curve. Recently I’ve written a My Memories Suite Review on my blog, and this software is both low-cost and super easy to learn. Even if it does not have all the advanced functions as Photoshop, it is great for most digital scrapbookers.
The first time you open the My Memories Suite, you will observe a left and a right sidebar and the work area between them. And in addition there’s a tool bar at the top. At the first glanze they seem quite similar, but they certainly have different possibilities. You use the left sidebar to browse your images and to access the online store to purchase new kits. The right sidebar is the control panel. Even if you can add both images and elements from both sidebars, the right one is where you can add effects such as shadows, bevels and even music!
With My Memories Suite you can pretty much be as creative as you desire. You can create each page like it was a piece of art, add lots of embellishments and fancy titles. But you may also use the automated functions of the program. You can select a predesigned album, and then use the autofill feature to add your photos. Even if you use autofill you can return and change each page until you are pleased with them. Everybody knows how annoying it is to get a photobook back from a printer with spelling mistakes. My Memories Suite has a dictionary with spell checker function, maybe one of the most useful functions about the program.
Occasionally I am a little narrow minded. I remember reading a review of another scrapbook software in Macworld not long ago. And the one who wrote this review listed benefits and drawbacks, and one of the cons was that he couldn’t add music to the pages. And I thought….hellooo….we make scrapbooks, we don’t expect to listen to Holiday with Scorpions when we open our family vacation scrapbook.
I think the idea of adding music and video to a virtual scrapbook is an excellent idea. When you have family and friends visiting, you will not have to send your printed scrapbook around the table. Instead you can put a dvd in your player and you can all see the virtual scrapbook on your tv. Have you decided to buy the program yet?
