Or you may do it the fast way. Pick a ready made album and autofill it with your photos. The last option is really pretty good. And whether or not you make use of autofill, it is possible to adjust the pages to your liking afterwards, before you order your printed photobook. My Memories Suite even has a a spelling checker included, and that is a very handy feature. It is so annoying when you have spent lots of time creating your book, and it comes back from the printer with spelling errors you overlooked.
Sometimes I’m a little narrow minded. I recall reading a review of another scrapbook software in Macworld a while ago. And the one who wrote this review listed benefits and drawbacks, and one of the cons was that he couldn’t add music to the pages. And I thought….hellooo….we make scrapbooks, we don’t expect to hear Holiday with Scorpions once we open our family vacation scrapbook.
The possibility to add music and video can obviously not be add to a printed book of paper, but what My Memories Suite can do for you is create a dvd that includes music tracks and video snippets. I actually think this is a really cool thing. Instead of sending your scrapbook around the table when you have a family gathering, you could put the dvd in your player and flip through a virtual book on your tv for everyone to see at the same time.
