Many people want to try internet scrapping, but think programs such as Photoshop or Photoshop elements to difficult to understand. These kind of programmes are usually pretty high priced. A good alternative is on the market, My Memories Suite. I received access to this amazing computer software a week ago, and here is my own My Memories Suite Review. After I opened up the software the very first time, I got just a little bit confused. But I really made the very first page layout in an hour without the need to look at the guide book. My Memories Suite really is so simple to use.
What overwhelmed me a little bit when I started out with this program was the menus. There is one sidebar on both sides of the workspace and an icon bar on top of it. And at the first look, they seem to do the exact same. You can insert photos and elements from all three of them. However the left sidebar is more like a browser, while the control panel sidebar on the right side will let you customize everything. Like shadows, inserting music, create videos etc. The left sidebar is perfect for searching your photos.
With My Memories Suite you can pretty much be as creative as you wish. You can create each page like it was a piece of art, add lots of embellishments and fancy titles. But you can even use the automated functions of the program. You can pick a predesigned album, and then use the autofill function to add your photos. Even if you use autofill you can return and edit each page till you are pleased with them. Everyone knows how annoying it is to get a photobook back from a printer with spelling mistakes. My Memories Suite has a spell checker function, maybe one of the most useful functions about the program.
Sometimes I’m a little narrow minded. I recall reading a review of another scrapbook software in Macworld a while ago. And the person who wrote this review listed advantages and disadvantages, and one of the negatives was that he couldn’t add music to the pages. And I thought….hellooo….we make scrapbooks, we don’t expect to listen to Holiday with Scorpions when we open our family vacation scrapbook.
Well, in fact this is a great function. Instead of sending your album around for everyone to admire after a family dinner, you could just put a dvd in your player and show the whole book on your big flatscreen tv for everyone to see. With My Memories suite you can do all this. You can have a dvd ordered with your printed scrapbook if you like AND you can include video snippets inside the scrapbook pages, and also music. How cool is that? If you search around a My Memories Suite Coupon, should be pretty easy to find.
