The last years several kinds of applications for digital scrap booking is currently offered in the shops. You can use a lots of software programs for this specific purpose. Although you are able to insert an element to your page from the left sidebar, it won’t make it possible for you to add shadows and also other effects. You can do that from the right sidebar, the control panel.
With My Memories Suite you may basically be as artistic as you would like. You can create each page like it was a piece of art, add lots of embellishments and fancy titles. But you can even use the automated functions of the software. You can pick a ready made album, then use the autofill feature to include your images. Even if you use autofill you can go back and edit each page till you are happy with them. Everyone knows how annoying it is to get a photobook back from a printer with spelling mistakes. My Memories Suite has a spell checker function, maybe one of the most useful functions about the software.
Sometimes I’m a little narrow minded. I recall reading an overview of another scrapbook software in Macworld a while ago. And the one who wrote this review listed pros and cons, and one of the cons was that he couldn’t add music to the pages. And I thought….hellooo….we make scrapbooks, we don’t expect to hear Holiday with Scorpions when we open our family vacation scrapbook.
Well, actually this is a really cool feature. Rather than sending your album around for everyone to admire after a family dinner, you could just put a dvd in your player and show the whole book on your big flatscreen tv for everyone to see. With My Memories suite you can do all this. You can have a dvd ordered with your printed scrapbook if you like AND you can include video snippets inside the scrapbook pages, and also music. How cool is that? If you search around a My Memories Suite Coupon, should be pretty easy to find.
