Using Adwords For Affiliate accounts
Do you love working with adwords and affiliate marketing? Send your adwords traffic to your affiliate site, you would still like your affiliate conversions (leads or sales) like to see in your adwords account. Measuring conversions is still very useful if … your adwords campaigns to optimize the conversion will not occur on your website but the website of the merchant, the company where you send your visitors to go. These conversions are not in your Adwords account correctly. In Daisycon this is possible! And this is very handy, I can tell.
Step 1: Adwords conversion measurement set
Setting the adwords conversion goes on the known method, namely in your Adwords account, go to the tab ‘Options’ and ‘Tools’ and then ‘Conversions’. Under ‘conversions’ to create a new conversion. Enter the new tracking a name and choose the type of conversion, such as Purchase / Sale. Under the tab “Code” is now the code that normally comes with the thank you page of a website or shop move. Once someone on the acknowledgments page, a conversion is measured. In this case however we only have the Google conversion ID is required, this is the number after google_conversion_id (eg google_conversion_id var = 1234567890;). Copy it from the code and paste it here for convenience in your scrapbook.
Step 2: Set Daisycon measurement conversion
In your Daisycon account do you measure conversions under ‘Help resources’ and’ conversion tracking.
Choose below for Tracking Method Add the page and you’ll Configure conversion tracking. Here select “Search Engine”.
Then choose to Media for the website that you want to track conversions. This is a website that is already known to be under your account Daisycon. If needed, add them under My Account> My Media.
Fill in the ID Google Google tracking code that you copied from Adwords. Remember the conversion tracker on ‘active’ on!
If all went well you going in your Adwords account, the affiliate conversions back and even the conversion value, or the proceeds of the conversion. Now you can eventually see clearly which campaigns, ad groups, keywords and conversions. This is exactly what you need to optimize your adwords campaigns.
