Where To Find A Coupon For The Bestselling Computer Scrapbooking Software
The last years several kinds of software for digital scrapping is now available in the stores. You should use a wide range of programs for this purpose. Quite a few scrapbookers like software such as Photoshop or Photoshop Elements. The problem with these applications for many is definitely the price, photoshop will cost you hundreds of dollars, and a software as complex as this one has a very high learning curve. This week I’ve posted a My Memories Suite Review on my website, and this software is both affordable and super easy to figure out. Even if it does not have all the expert functions as Photoshop, it really is more than enough for the majority of digital scrapbookers.
When you first open the My Memories Suite, you will observe a left and a right sidebar and the work area between them. And additionally there is a tool bar at the top. At the first glanze they seem quite similar, but they do have different options. You use the left sidebar to browse your images and to access the online store to buy new kits. The right sidebar is the control panel. Although you may can include both images and elements from both sidebars, the right one is where you may add effects such as shadows, bevels and even music!
With My Memories Suite you may basically be as artistic as you wish. You can create each page like it was a piece of art, add lots of embellishments and nice titles. But you may also use the automated functions of the program. You can select a predesigned album, then use the autofill function to include your photographs. Even if you use autofill you can return and edit each page until you’re pleased with them. Everyone knows how annoying it is to get a photobook back from a printer with spelling mistakes. My Memories Suite has a dictionary with spell checker function, maybe one of the most useful functions about the program.
Occasionally I’m a little narrow minded. I recall reading a review of another scrapbook software in Macworld not long ago. And the one who wrote this review listed advantages and disadvantages, and one of the cons was that he couldn’t add music to the pages. And I thought….hellooo….we make scrapbooks, we don’t expect to hear Holiday with Scorpions once we open our family vacation scrapbook.
The possibility to add music and video can obviously not be add to a printed book of paper, but what My Memories Suite can do for you is create a dvd that includes music tracks and video snippets. I actually think this is a really cool thing. Instead of sending your scrapbook around the table when you have a family gathering, you could put the dvd in your player and flip through a virtual book on your tv for everyone to see at the same time.
