Read This Review And Get A Coupon For The Most Popular Software for Digital Scrapbooking
More or less once a week I get e-mails coming from persons seeking an alternative choice to Photoshop or Photoshop Elements, wanting something cheaper and easier to work with. My Memories Suite may very well be precisely what you are interested in. I have been doing a My Memories Suite Review this last week. It doesn’t have the similar learning curve as Photoshop or Photoshop Elements. I will admit that I was a little confused when I first opened the software, but I made my first page layout in less than an hour, even though I never tried My Memories suite before. It truly is so easy to work with.
The first time you open the My Memories Suite, you will observe a left and a right sidebar and the work area between them. And additionally there is a tool bar at the top. At the first glanze they seem much the same, but they certainly have different options. You use the left sidebar to browse your photos and to access the online store to buy new kits. The right sidebar is the control panel. Even though you can include both photos and elements from both sidebars, the right one is where you can add effects such as shadows, bevels and even music!
My Memories Suite lets you be as artistic as you would like to be. You may put a lot of work into each page if you want. Add a lot of details, make a good title and layer your papers. Or it is possible to do it the speedy way. Pick a premade album and autofill it with your photographs. The last option is really very good. And even if you make use of autofill, you’ll be able to adjust the pages to your liking afterwards, before you order your printed photobook. My Memories Suite even has a spell checker included, which is a very handy feature. It is so annoying when you have spent lots of time creating your book, and it comes back from the printer with spelling errors you overlooked.
Occasionally I am a little narrow minded. I remember reading an overview of another scrapbook software in Macworld a while ago. And the one who wrote this review listed positives and negatives, and one of the negatives was that he couldn’t add music to the pages. And I thought….hellooo….we make scrapbooks, we don’t expect to listen to Holiday with Scorpions when we open our vacation scrapbook.
The possibility to add music and video can obviously not be add to a printed book of paper, but what My Memories Suite can do for you is create a dvd that includes music tracks and video snippets. I actually think this is a really cool thing. Instead of sending your scrapbook around the table when you have a family gathering, you could put the dvd in your player and flip through a virtual book on your tv for everyone to see at the same time. If you are still not convinced that My Memories Suite is for you, or still to expensive, then do a google search for a My Memories Suite Coupon. It should be pretty easy to find!
