Many of us want to try internet scrapping, but find programs like Adobe photoshop or perhaps Adobe photoshop elements to difficult to find out. I actually received access to this brilliant software a week ago, and here is my own My Memories Suite Review. When I opened up the application the very first time, I became a little confused. However I really made the very first layout during an hour or so without the need to go through the handbook. My Memories Suite is really that simple to use.
When you open up the program for the first time, you’ll see the work area in the middle, between a browser sidebar on the left and a control panel on the right side. And there’s also an icon tool bar at the top. You’ll be able to place pictures, backgrounds and elements from them all. You will discover some differences though. Although you are able to place an element to your page from your left sidebar, it will not let you to add shadows as well as other effects. You do that from the right sidebar, the control panel.
With My Memories Suite you can pretty much be as artistic as you wish. You can create each page like it was a piece of art, add lots of embellishments and fancy titles. But you can also use the automated features of the program. You can choose a predesigned album, and then use the autofill feature to include your images. Even when you use autofill you can go back and change each page until you’re happy with them. Anyone knows how annoying it is to get a photobook back from a printer with spelling mistakes. My Memories Suite has a dictionary with spell checker function, maybe one of the most useful features about the program.
Occasionally I am a little narrow minded. I remember reading a review of another scrapbook software in Macworld not long ago. And the one who wrote this review listed advantages and disadvantages, and one of the cons was that he couldn’t add music to the pages. And I thought….hellooo….we make scrapbooks, we don’t expect to hear Holiday with Scorpions when we open our family vacation scrapbook.
Well, in fact this is a great feature. Rather than sending your album around for everyone to admire after a family dinner, you could just put a dvd in your player and show the whole book on your big flatscreen tv for everyone to see. With My Memories suite you can do all this. You can have a dvd ordered with your printed scrapbook if you like AND you can include video snippets inside the scrapbook pages, and also music. How cool is that? If you search around a My Memories Suite Coupon, should be pretty easy to find.
