Baby first Christmas Scrapbook by Terrence Banks
Memories are forever and they are one of the most beautiful and priceless treasures of our lives. Who would know and understand this more than the parents. When we look back in the later years of our lives, it seems like it was just yesterday that our baby was born, her first steps, her first Christmasâ As time passes by, all the first’s becomes bygone memories. Hence it is understandable, that as parents of a newborn, you are excited to celebrate and have fun at holidays such as Christmas. Amongst many gifts, the most priceless is a scrapbook that can be gifted on the baby’s first Christmas. Planning for this should have started before the little bundle of joy is in your lap. Because once you are parents, do you know what you would need to do, what you need to have to give this priceless gift to your child?
As new parents, you never seem to have time. You are forever busy in the baby routine of diapers, food, fun and the midnight duties. You never seem to have enough energy to get things moving out of this routine. If you have no idea, we would help you do put some thoughts together.
Put a few things together that you got for your child before birth. Try putting together some pictures different periods of your pregnancy and of time gone by. It is nice to include items that your baby has used, as this adds a new dimension. Now is the time to put some supplies together, like the scissors, colored paper, glue stick, stickers, borders, ruler, colored pens, photo corners, page protectors. Don’t miss the book itself. If you are already running short of time, you can buy kit available to help you make a simple scrapbook with all instructions.
Have the pictures and items, like pins, baby bands, etc, that you want to included in the scrapbook and decide if you want to arrange them in consistency, either on time, or special events and occasions or seasons. Compliment the theme with appropriate pictures, background and decorations. If you have been maintaining a journal or have emails from family members about your child then you can put these out and add them to your scrapbook.
While you are getting ready to get the supplies, think of choosing a paper color that compliments the kind of pictures you have or the gender of the baby. If it is not the first baby, then you might like to merge the scrapbook for children. Remember that scrapbook is for the baby, however it is about the family as well. So you can include some family pictures complete with the Christmas decorations.
The first Christmas is one of the most treasured occasions for the family. You can make it more memorable by decorating the scrap book with mistletoe, Christmas trimmings and even a miniature Santa Claus hat. You can make your scrapbook in the shape of a sack of goodies or a Sleigh complete with the Santa and the reindeers!
Finally, you have all you need to give this priceless possession of scrapbook a final go. Remember this is not just a first gift to your little one but a memory to cherish for the moments that will never comeback. Your imagination and creativity will give this gift a new and ultimate dimension. After all its your baby’s first Christmas scrapbook and your baby is the most precious gift this Christmas !
