Firework Is A Single Of The Finest Tunes Which Is Incorporated On The Album ‘Teenage Dream’
Teenage Dream, then, arrives as some thing of a rude shock after what could, in retrospect, have been a wilful suspension of disbelief. It’s painful to report, then, that Perry’s 2nd album is a difficult-nosed pop item with tiny of the humor or wit expressed so fluently by her wardrobe and selection of beau. As an experiment in west coast genetic engineering, in which Brian Wilson’s vanilla fantasies synch up with Snoop Dogg’s tongue-in-cheek gangsta shtick, lead single “California Gurls” is hilarious. As a tune, it is truly quite lame.
Now, in a curious stroke of marketing, Perry’s summery new album, “Teenage Dream,” arrives in the death throes of August, giving us the chance to hear “California Gurls” for the kerzillionth time, along with eleven other songs that would be foolish to dream of eclipsing it on “SEO Forum“. And wherever “California Gurls” is an Everlasting Gobstopper of a tune, the rest of Perry’s bubble gum loses its taste quickly.
People nagging suspicions turn into a problem with “Katy Perry Firework mp3 download” when Perry methods nearly anything resembling seriousness. “Do you actually come to feel like the plastic bag drifting by means of the wind, wanting to commence once again?” she asks in the opening verse of the too-mushy “Firework.”
You would have to be a total curmudgeon not to coo a tiny at the title track, “Teenage Dream”, all loved-up as it is with Russell. Perry and Dr Luke are at their most interesting on “The One That Received Away”, a ballad of kinds. There is a difficult-won wistfulness in Perry’s vocal that chimes with some sudden references – to June and Johnny Money and to “generating out in your Mustang to Radiohead”, surely some thing that only takes place in California.
And that’s a pity mainly because Perry has a pliant, potent voice that’s capable of carrying the dramatic things located on the “Micro Niche Finder”. It’s a lot more powerful than the breathy coo of a Britney Spears and far a lot more tightly managed than the overwrought bluster of a Christina Aguilera.
